Wisdom from a Grandmother’s Legacy

The Power of Early Prayer: Wisdom from a Grandmother’s Legacy

As a child intercessor, I had the privilege of meeting a remarkable grandmother a few years ago. In our conversation, I couldn’t resist asking her the secret behind the remarkable success and greatness of her children and grandchildren. They were living an extraordinary life, and I was eager to uncover the key to their prosperity.

She shared a profound truth that left an indelible mark on my heart. Her youth had been marked by pains and hardships, and she was determined not to let her offspring experience the same struggles. The secret, she revealed, was prayer – a practice she had embraced since the age of 24. Now, at 74, she was witnessing the fruits of those prayers manifest in the success of all her children and grandchildren.

Her grandchildren were not just thriving; they were consistently on governors and mayors’ honor rolls. The legacy of her early and persistent prayers had paved the way for their extraordinary achievements. Her life, now lived well and large with presidential treatment from her children, was a testament to the power of prayer when started early.

She imparted a crucial piece of advice: Don’t be the mother who starts praying and stressing only when challenges arise. Some mothers begin praying when their children can’t find a life partner, while others start when their child faces unemployment. The grandmother’s wisdom echoed, urging us not to wait for adversity but to pray preemptively.

May we, as mothers, be inspired by this wisdom. May our prayers go ahead of our children, shielding them from the struggles we endured. May divine assistance accompany them every step of the way. Let our supplications be a proactive force, shaping destinies before challenges arise.

I invite you to join our collective prayer journey every Friday at 6 am. Together, let’s intercede for the well-being and success of our children. Remember, Jesus loves us all, and through our prayers, we wield a powerful influence on the futures of those we cherish.

May our children not only escape struggles but thrive in the abundance of divine blessings. Amen.
